As America targets efforts towards connecting every community to robust broadband, cable providers continue to do what they have always done: build out their networks to reach as many Americans as possible.

Alaska
GCI has launched multi-gigabit service in Utqiagvik, the northernmost community in the United States. The project connects the North Slope community, located 320 miles above the Arctic Circle on the shores of the Arctic Ocean.
Arizona
Cox is expanding and upgrading its high-speed internet capabilities in the Sierra Vista area. The project is expected to connect around 51,000 homes and businesses to gigabit speeds.
California
Charter has extended its fiber-broadband network to over 400 homes and small businesses in San Ardo.
Comcast announced it will expand its high-speed fiber broadband network in Northern California’s Butte and Colusa counties. When complete next year, the project will connect over 260 locations in Colusa and 445 locations in Butte, all of which were previously unserved.
Oregon
Work is underway to expand Comcast’s network in Stayton. Once complete, the project will connect 2,700 homes and businesses.
Washington
Comcast is expanding its network in Spokane County, including the communities of Medical Lakes and Four Lakes. When complete, multi-gigabit speeds will be available to 2,800 homes and businesses.
