Every January, the Consumer Electronics Show takes over Las Vegas to reveal the very latest in consumer tech, gadgets, and accessories. As always, we’ll spend the week sharing key show moments and announcements on twitter (@NCTACable) and here on our blog. This year we’re particularly interested in the Internet of things (IoT) and what it means for the future of broadband and technology. There are thousands of exhibitors, talks and events all about the subject – it’s poised to be one of the most discussed topics at this show. The devices that make up the IoT are already redefining what the Internet is. What we see at CES could be an early window into a future where the Internet is no longer something we experience through a personal computer, but through objects all around us. And with the now 300,000 cable Wi-Fi hotspots, these connections extend out of the home just as easily. We’re so excited to be a part of it. So, check back here and keep track of our experiences and reports on Twitter (@NCTACable) and Facebook (facebook.com/nctacable). If there’s something specific you’d like to see, feel free to reach out to us directly via the comments section, on Twitter, or on Facebook. We love questions!
